About Miolooks Salon Studio

My name is Miosotis but you can call me Mio. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I grew up learning to appreciate the art of beauty throughout my Mom who was also a Cosmetologist and makeup Artist during the 80's. I'm married to a wonderful man and a mom of a 8 year old girl who thinks I'm the best hairstylist in the whole world! 

I have been a Hairstylist for over 15 years. Becoming a Hairstylist was always my dream but I never knew that the beauty industry would become my passion. The beauty and art behind hair coloring, haircutting, styling hair and applying makeup had always captivated me, even more so the ability to empower and build confidence in others throughout my services. I love being able to create, inspire and uplift others! I feel like an artist when it comes to helping my clients look their best.

I have worked in different places around the USA and PR, working right next to amazingly talented artists that molded me to the hairstylist I am today. I have trained with top Hair Artist educators such as Ashlee Norman, Larissa Doll, Lisa Hernandez, Tonya Pushkerava, Vladimir Sarbashev and many others.

My years of experience as a makeup artist has helped me become knowledgeable when it comes to the art of makeup. My goal as a makeup artist is to enhance the natural beauty of my clients by giving them a flawless, feminine look.

Dedicated, passionate, honest, creative, friendly, huge attention to detail, good listener and adaptable are some of the characteristics that can describe me the best.

Having Miolooks Salon Studio LLC is a dream come true. I understand that there are many amazing artists out there to choose from. That’s why I’m so grateful that you are here taking the time to know a little bit more about me, but most importantly that you allow me to be the one behind the happiness you feel when you get your hair and/or makeup done.
